CasperLabs announced the integration of Chainlink, a decentralized oracle machine, to implement a transaction fee mechanism denominated in fiat currency, which makes the calculation of corporate customers’ budgets simple and effective. This means that all applications based on CasperLabs will have access to the data and resources on Chainlink. At the same time, Chainlink will also become the first oracle service provider recommended by default on the CasperLabs blockchain and smart contract platform. The CasperLabs team has delivered 18 development versions on time since November 2018. TestNet of CasperLabs was launched on March 31, 2020, and the mainnet is scheduled to be launched in the third quarter of 2020. CasperLabs allows developers to easily predict application development costs, trying to create a fixed, predictable usage fee mechanism. Specifically, its native token CLX can be used to pay for gas fees, but the value of CLX tokens fluctuates, so Casper sets a price limit. Although it consumes CLX, the set value is the legal currency value. To achieve this , Casper uses decentralized oracles to provide price data.
