Craig Wright’s doctoral thesis accused of plagiarism

Medium user PaintedFrog wrote that Craig Wright’s doctoral thesis was suspected of plagiarism. After analysis, Wright’s paper contains at least 30 pages of plagiarism, including sentences that are carried verbatim without quotation, and almost all of Chapter 6 is suspected of deliberate plagiarism. In many cases, Wright replaces a synonym every few words, and often does not even change the sentence structure. In 2017, Charles Sturt University awarded Wright a Ph.D. Wright’s thesis title is “Quantifying Information System Risks: A Study of Quantifying Responses to Information Security Issues.” On April 9th, PaintedFrog also showed the high similarity between CSW’s Northumbria University International Business Law Master’s degree thesis and some other public sources.
