IBM and three European grid operators establish blockchain new energy platform Equigy

According to Coindesk, the technology giant IBM and three European grid operators (TenneT, Terna and Swissgrid, respectively) have established a new blockchain alliance platform Equigy to achieve a smooth transition to renewable energy. Among them, TenneT covers parts of the Netherlands and Germany, and Terna and Swissgrid cover Italy and Switzerland, respectively. Consumers can use the blockchain new energy platform to interact with the three major grid system operators when using electric vehicles and home power. The Equigy pilot will continue until the end of this year.
