Open source payment network Celo adds 25 members of the “Prosperity Alliance”

The open source payment network Celo issued a document saying that since early March, Celo’s Alliance for Prosperity (Alliance for Prosperity) has added 25 members, an increase of 50% from the beginning of March (50). New members include Ankr, Ontology, Paxful, and the United Nations African Blockchain Association. Celo announced that the first candidate version (RC1) of the mainnet has been launched, in preparation for the official launch of the mainnet on May 13. Lianwen mentioned earlier that the initial members of the “Prosperity Alliance” include venture capital companies Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Coinbase Ventures and Polychain Capital. In addition, in April 2019, Celo received $ 30 million in financing led by a16z and Polychain.
