Kaspersky Lab will use Bitfury open source enterprise blockchain to build a blockchain voting system for Moscow

According to the official page of the Moscow Information Technology Department for electronic voting, the department is planning to use the Bitcoin technology company Bitfury’s open source enterprise blockchain Exonum to build a blockchain voting system. The page states: “The smart contract for the ballot ledger will record the ballot in the system. After the vote is completed, it will decode the ballot and publish it in the blockchain system.” According to people familiar with the electronic voting project The company building solutions for the Moscow authorities is Kaspersky Lab, a provider of antivirus protection and Internet security software.
