Gavin Wood: Poka’s first on-chain governance vote is about to start, will determine whether the DOT will be split

Polkadot founder Gavin Wood released the latest blog post that Polkadot’s first on-chain governance vote is about to begin. In the next few days, Polkadot will open a binding vote to decide whether to change the name of the native token DOT. The vote will provide four options (multiple choices). You can vote through wallets and other channels for two weeks. The four options are: 1. No change from the original 2017 sales definition, which means that there will be a total of 10 million DOTs from the genesis block; 2. Split 10 times from the initial sales, also It is 100 million DOT total; 3. Split 100 times from the initial sales, which is 1 billion DOT total; 4. Split 1000 times from the initial sales, which is 10 billion DOT total.
