Yibang International won the bid for China Telecom’s 369 million project, and entered the blockchain +5G edge computing

According to the Zhitong Finance report, China Telecom announced the list of candidates for the bid for the centralized procurement of government-enterprise gateways in 2020, and many companies such as Huawei, ZTE, and Ebon International (EBON.NASDAQ) were on the list. Among them, Zhejiang Yibang Communication Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yibang International, won the bid of 369 million yuan (excluding VAT). According to public information, Everbond has been devoted to the research of data communication, optical communication, 4G/5G wireless communication and blockchain technology since its inception. The company has adjusted the overall product line to a dedicated product system that serves 5G needs. Its 5G business development direction involves edge computing, UCS enterprise converged communications, and 4G/5G wireless communications. According to China Telecom’s disclosure, the above-mentioned projects began to evaluate bids on June 22 this year. After evaluation, Yibang Telecom ranked fifth overall, meeting the eligibility requirements stipulated in the bidding documents.
