European encryption-friendly fintech company Revolut announced a partnership with Paxos to launch encryption services in the United States. Specifically, Revolut will provide a front-end client experience, while back-end technical complexity and basic compliance matters are handled by Paxos Crypto Brokerage. Since Paxos holds a New York Trust license, the service will support access by citizens of all jurisdictions within the scope of the license. In addition, Revolut does not need to worry about the liquidity problem caused by the lack of market makers. Ed Cooper, head of Revolut’s cryptocurrency, said that he hopes to create differentiated products by allowing US users to invest in cryptocurrencies using change summarization services. Considering the current demand for crypto services, Paxos’ business model is very meaningful.
