Ethereum-based gaming startup Sorare completes $4 million seed round of financing

Ethereum-based gaming startup Sorare announced that it has completed a $4 million seed round of funding, led by e.ventures, with existing investors Partech, Fabric Ventures, Semantic Ventures, Cygni Capital, and World Cup champion André Schürrle participating. Sorare said that it will use seed funds to promote the company’s further development, and plans to double the team size by the end of the year to improve the gaming experience. The number of planned football clubs has doubled, and the goal is to sign a contract with the top 20 football leagues in the world to create a global fantasy football game.
