Crypto asset quantitative investment company Cambrian completes $4 million seed round financing

According to Crunchbase, the digital asset investment company Cambrian Asset Management (Cambrian for short) received a seed round of equity financing of US$4.2 million oversubscription (the initial target was US$3 million) to develop and run its quantitative fund. This round of financing was led by Renaissance Technologies and First Round Capital co-founders Howard Morgan, Charles B. Johnson and Franklin Templeton family investment office, IVP general partner Dennis Phelps, Business Insider and MongoDB co-founder Kevin P. Ryan. Another 20 equity investors and angel investors also participated in this round of investment. According to Cambrian CEO Martin Green, Cambrian’s financial products are mainly aimed at qualified investors and family financial institutions who are interested in investing in liquid digital assets (such as BTC and ETH).
