YouTube filed a motion to withdraw Ripple’s lawsuit

YouTube filed a motion to withdraw Ripple’s lawsuit against the court. Youtube stated that the scam videos that gave away XRP tokens were provided by third-party creators, which means that the platform is not responsible for the video content. Ripple filed a lawsuit against YouTube in April this year, requiring it to deal with relevant fake news and fraudulent scams in a timely manner. The lawsuit pointed out that due to YouTube’s failure to resolve fraudulent and misinformation prevalent on its platform, Ripple’s public image was damaged.
