Japanese financial giant SBI Holdings acquires 10% of Nomura Holdings’ STO platform Boostry

Japanese investment giant SBI Holdings acquired a 10% stake in Boostry, a securitization token issuance platform under Nomura Holdings. According to the announcement, Nomura Holdings, the main owner of Bostry and its joint venture Nomura Research Institute (Nomura Research Institute), have signed a memorandum of cooperation with SBI Holdings. After the completion of the acquisition, 54% of the Bostry platform is held by Nomura Holdings, Nomura Research Institute holds 34%, and SBI Holdings owns 10%. At the same time, these three entities will form a strategic alliance to promote Boostry’s operations.
