According to CoinDesk, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has signed an agreement with BitFury’s encrypted tracking service company Crystal Blockchain B.V. to launch the government’s virtual asset monitoring program. Marina Khaustova, CEO of Crystal Blockchain, stated that the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation will use the company’s software to track the source of suspicious encrypted transactions. This department is responsible for managing Ukraine’s digital center and maintaining contact with the Ministry of Finance. Treasury officials have previously stated that they will track all crypto transactions in excess of $1,200 in accordance with international anti-money laundering (AML) guidelines and Ukrainian laws in 2019.
