According to the quarterly report of MoneyGram, an international remittance business company, Ripple paid its partner MoneyGram worth 15.1 million USD in XRP token incentive funds in the second quarter of this year. At the same time, USD 6.3 million of the token reward was offset by related transaction and transaction fees, leaving USD 8.8 million as net income. MoneyGram receives these rewards in XRP based on the transaction volume of Ripple’s On-Demand Liquidity (ODL) platform. Previously, in the first quarter of this year, Ripple paid it $16.6 million in incentive funds. Chain Wen previously reported that MoneyGram began using Ripple’s xRapid blockchain platform to perform cross-border business settlement in August last year.
