Bitcoin Core releases version 0.20.1

The Bitcoin Core client Bitcoin Core released version 0.20.1. In this version, important changes include the change of “misbehaving” nodes (for example, sending invalid blocks) to nodes that are discouraged in the log output. Incoming connections are still allowed, but will be banned first, etc. Link Wen noted that version 0.20.0 was released in early June, which is close to 6 months after the release of the previous major version 0.19.0. According to the current plan, the release date of the next major version 0.21.0 is December 3.
