Huobi Technology’s subsidiaries were granted licenses No. 4 and No. 9 by the Hong Kong Securities Regulatory Commission

Huobi Technology Holdings Co., Ltd. (1611.HK, hereinafter referred to as “Huobi Technology”) issued an announcement stating that its wholly-owned asset management subsidiary Huobi Asset Management (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) On July 31, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (“SFC”) issued Type 4 (advising on securities) and Type 9 (asset management) licenses, allowing them to conduct related regulated activities. These include that Huobi Asset Management cannot hold client assets (as defined in the Securities and Futures Ordinance) and Huobi Asset Management can only provide services to professional investors (as defined in the Securities and Futures Ordinance and its subsidiary regulations). As of the date of this announcement, Huobi Asset Management has not yet started any business related to asset and fund management and advising on securities transactions. The company will focus on providing securities consulting and asset management services to professional investors, and has long been committed to building a comprehensive financial service platform to provide services to investment customers of traditional assets and virtual assets.
