The investors include many undisclosed institutional investors, including university endowments, and will focus on encrypted network and blockchain businesses. This is the company’s second fund. Electric Capital stated that since 2017, the company has been paying attention to “programmable currency” and will continue to look for opportunities in one-layer protocols, decentralized finance and community networks, and encryption-related companies and markets.
