Spanish cryptocurrency payment platform 2gether was hacked and lost 1.183 million euros in crypto assets

Spanish cryptocurrency payment application and credit card issuer 2gether issued a statement stating that on July 31, the company suffered a hacker attack and stolen 1.183 million euros of cryptocurrency, accounting for 26.79% of its total crypto assets in Kraken user accounts. The attack affected 47.35% of Bitcoin and 11.04% of Ethereum. Other cryptocurrencies were not affected. In addition, the company’s debit card, credit card business and 2GT account were not affected. 2gether will use its native token 2GT to repay investors for the stolen losses, and affected users will receive 2GT equivalent to the stolen amount. After the attack, 2gether is working hard to restart its application. The development work has been completed and will be tested today.
