As of 1:54 on August 5th, Beijing time, the participation rate of the Ethereum 2.0 multi-client testnet Medalla has exceeded 80%, reaching 80.18%. According to data from eth2.ethernodes.org, the current distribution of Medalla’s client nodes is that the Prysm client currently has the highest proportion of nodes at 63.7%; followed by Lighthouse, at 23.7%. Chain News previously reported that Medalla was officially launched at 21:00 yesterday. If Mdella runs stably, the next step is currently the mainnet release. Medalla’s previous multi-client testnets were mainly run by the client team and EF members. With the launch of the Medalla testnet, the stability and health of the Ethereum chain will be almost completely in the hands of the community.
