Coinbase hires Tagomi co-founder as vice president of institutional products to accelerate Tagomi’s acquisition of business

Coinbase has hired Greg Tusar, co-founder and chief technology officer of cryptocurrency broker Tagomi, as its vice president of institutional products to accelerate the acquisition of Tagomi’s business. Chain Wen previously reported that at the end of May, Coinbase confirmed that it would acquire cryptocurrency broker Tagomi. The current transaction between the two parties is still subject to regulatory approval and is expected to be completed by the end of 2020. According to sources, the acquisition amount is between 70 million and 100 million US dollars, which is Coinbase’s largest acquisition so far.
