Several BCH node developers plan to implement the ASERT DAA difficulty adjustment algorithm on the BCH chain on November 15th

Multiple BCH developers issued a joint statement stating that they plan to implement the aserti3-2d difficulty adjustment algorithm (ASERT DAA) on the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) chain on November 15, 2020. This algorithm was designed by Mark Lundeberg and implemented by Jonathan Toomim and other developers. aserti3-2d is easy to implement and has been thoroughly tested and fully simulated. This algorithm will encourage stable mining, achieve stable transaction confirmation with a low-volatility block time target, and be resistant to future block production drift. These developers come from teams such as BU, Electron Cash, BCHD, and BCHN, and are composed of node developers, infrastructure operators, service providers, engineers, and BCH holders. aserti3-2d is easy to implement and has been thoroughly tested and fully simulated.
