Distributed computing platform Golem wrote an article introducing the first scientific use case on its Golem mainnet, the scientific modeling project CHEM @ Golem. The project is developed by Golem in cooperation with well-known scientific research institutions in the field. The provider will be able to run the computing power required to simulate chemical reactions and generate a model of synthetic feasibility chemical space composed of small organic molecules. To build CHEM @ Golem, Golem will use its Task API and will run on Golem Clay Beta for a month, after which it will be collected and analyzed. If it can be successful, Golem and partner R&D institutions will migrate the application to New Golem.
