According to a report by The Block, the Bitcoin fund Adamant Capital founded by the firm Bitcoin holder Tuur Demeester quietly closed. The other founder of the agency, Michiel Lescrauwaet, confirmed this information and stated that Demeester closed the fund due to “personal and family reasons.” In addition, Lescrauwaet also revealed that when the fund was closed, the agency’s asset under management (AUM) was approximately US$10 million. Tuur Demeester is a long-term bearish on Ethereum and a crypto asset investor who supports Bitcoin. He has written several articles criticizing Ethereum, and has repeatedly confronted Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin on Twitter.
