Opera Android browser adds support for blockchain domain name project Unstoppable Domains

Opera Android Browser announced the addition of support for the blockchain domain name project Unstoppable Domains, which means that users can directly access the “.crypto domain name” website through Opera Android Browser. Previously, Wenwen reported that the blockchain domain name project Unstoppable Domains launched the Google Chrome browser extension program. Users can directly access the “.crypto domain name” website from Google Chrome, one of the most used browsers. “.Crypto” is a domain name system developed by Unstoppable Domains based on the Ethereum network smart contract. Unstoppable Domains states that the domain name system means that if an attacker wants to shut down a site, the entire network must be shut down. Unstoppable Domains launched a browser in February this year, which is based on Chromium and can be downloaded from the desktop on the website. Users can register .zil or .crypto domain names by using the service of Unstoppable Domains, and then users can use their blockchain domain names when receiving cryptocurrency payments. Unstoppable Domains completed a USD 4 million seed round of financing in 2019. The cryptocurrency fund Draper Associates led the investment, Boost VC and other participants participated. The Ethereum Foundation and the sharding project Zilliqa Foundation also participated in the company’s funding.
