Bakkt plans to add a “contactless payment” function to its app

Bakkt, a cryptocurrency platform initiated by the parent company of the NYSE, said that with the popularization of contactless payments, it has become easier to use digital currencies and digital wallets to pay. Bakkt plans to add functions to aggregate, convert, send, and consume digital assets to its apps, such as loyalty and reward points, cryptocurrency, gift cards, and game assets. The Bakkt app is an electronic wallet that can be paid with digital assets using contactless cards. This kind of contactless fund exchange is accomplished by clicking on a mobile phone or peer-to-peer payment. Whether in stores or online or in places that accept Google Pay or Apple Pay, you can use the Bakkt virtual debit card to make contactless payments through the Bakkt app. Both services are implemented using Near Field Communication (NFC).
