Bitcoin mining giant Bitfury contributes part of GPU computing power to new crown pneumonia related simulation experiments

Bitcoin mining giant Bitfury said that it has donated part of its GPU computing power to the University of Washington in the United States for the new crown pneumonia virus research project Folding at Home The project has previously sought more computer processing power to run simulations of coronavirus protein structures and help develop vaccines for new coronary pneumonia. Bitery’s CEO Valery Vavilov said, “Since March 20, Bitfury’s GPU computing power has been calculated for Folding at Home more than 1300 times and plans to expand its contribution over time.”
