Status Network releases version 1.2 and launches Waku mail server to improve scalability

Status Network announced the release of version 1.2 and also launched a mail server called Waku, which is Whisper’s fork protocol. The Waku mail server prevents Status from using excessive mobile bandwidth. Status The number of users that can be supported by Waku is ten times that of Whisper server only. With further improvements to Waku, Status can support higher user concurrency, and can deliver point-to-point messages without wasting unnecessary data.
