Korean public chain project ICON releases consensus algorithm LFT 2.0, which can achieve scalability and bandwidth performance improvement

The Korean public chain project ICON announced the release of the latest consensus algorithm Loop Fault Tolerance 2.0 (LFT 2.0), which can achieve scalability and network bandwidth performance improvements without compromising security on the basis of Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) consensus Sex. LFT 2.0 reduces the required message traffic from three steps to two steps, resulting in faster voting speed and reduced network latency. The consensus algorithm has been audited by the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) team.
