The New York Stock Exchange temporarily closed the trading floor, starting electronic trading on March 23

According to the news of the chain, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) announced that it will temporarily close its stock and options trading halls, including the New York Stock Exchange’s stock trading hall, the New York Stock Exchange’s US Options Trading Hall, and the Arca Options Trading Hall in San Francisco. Electronic trading will be fully launched on Monday, March 23. All securities listed and traded on the New York Stock Exchange will continue without interference. The decision to temporarily close the trading floor is a precautionary measure in response to COVID-19 to protect the health of employees and the trading floor community.
