Venezuelan President issues over US $ 31 million in oil currency loans to grain production companies

According to the Russian Satellite News Agency, on April 23, Venezuelan President Maduro issued a national cryptocurrency oil currency loan to some companies engaged in grain production in a television program. Maduro said before handing over the cryptocurrency check to the general manager of Agrosur: “In order to plant grain, we will issue a loan of 566,000 petrocoins to the Agrosur Group.” According to the latest official news, the petrocoin exchange rate is slightly higher than 55 USD, so the maximum amount of cryptocurrency issued today exceeds 31 million USD. Maduro signed an order in January authorizing the sale of oil for petroleum coins, noting that the goal is to convert all of the country ’s oil sales into petroleum coins.
