Etana Custody, a cryptocurrency custodian service provider, suffered a data leakage attack without causing financial losses

Etana Custody, a cryptocurrency custodian service provider, encountered a data security vulnerability attack last week. Etana stated that the data breach occurred on April 18, resulting in unauthorized external access to its client user interface, and client funds were not affected, but the attacker may have obtained some user information. According to the Etana official website, Etana is a fiat currency channel partner of the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken. Kraken’s integrated Etana service allows customers to deposit funds in five major fiat currencies, including US dollars and euros.
